Shorebird surveys of the Tofino Mudflats
WildResearch partnered with Environment Canada and Raincoast Education Society to carry out shorebird surveys of the Tofino Mudflats Wildlife Management Area in Tofino, BC. Species observed included large numbers of Western and Least Sandpiper, Dunlin, Short-billed Dowitcher, and Whimbrel, as well as Marbled Godwit, Semipalmated Plover, and Black-bellied Plover.
