BC Nightjar Survey Orientations

WildResearch will be hosting six BC Nightjar Survey orientations to kick-off the start of the 2015 survey season!

Orientations will be hosted by WildResearch Biologists and Directors at six locations across BC:

Vancouver – Monday June 15
Victoria – Tuesday June 16
Oliver – Wednesday June 10
Kelowna – Thursday June 11
Kamloops – Friday June 12
Prince George – Monday June 15

At each orientation, participants will learn about nightjars, including BC’s two species, meet other nightjar surveyors and naturalists, review the WildResearch nightjar survey protocol, and then practice surveying for nightjars together. Each session will begin 1.5 hours before local sunset time, and last 3 approximately hours.

Orientations are open to WildResearch members, nightjar surveyors, or those wanting to learn more about nightjars! Please email nightjars@wildresearch.ca to sign up for a session.

    • insights into the skills, training/certifications, and qualifications employers look for when hiring for their sector/organization; and
    • critiquing resumes provided in advance by workshop participants to provide constructive feedback on their resumes.

Space is still available for this event. Sign-up today by emailing info@wildresearch.ca, and by paying the registration feel online at the below link. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to network with professional biologists and to improve your employment potential.
